What is the exact base color for <insert material> ?
Use the reference colors provided. Base color values are accurate for pure metals. Values in the other categories can be used as a starting point - since there is variation in the base color of those materials
Nothing shows when I open the PBR Check scriptable tool
Have you installed all the required plugins?
Skeletal mesh returns the wrong material when I click
PBR Check is working correctly and displaying problem textures, however it can only return the first material applied to a Skeletal mesh when clicked. This is an engine limitation for blueprints
Are there shortkeys for using PBR Check?
You can see all the shortkeys as well as helpful info about your current viewmode at the bottom of the Unreal Editor when PBR Check is enabled
Customization
Editing the value parameters will affect the viewmode and will persist in your next session You can change the Debug Colors to one that suits you
